Two soft straps over the shoulders, one across the chest. The pad rests between the shoulder blades and the ring sits behind the head — nothing touches the neck, and their arms stay completely free to crawl, climb and break their own falls.
A new walker's centre of gravity sits high and behind them.
Which is why the first fall almost always goes the same way. The cushion is shaped around that one path.
Wobble
Knees give out mid-step. The nappy pulls the weight back, so the fall starts from the hips and travels upward.
Tip
The upper pad sits between the shoulder blades and the lower pad behind the head, so the cushion meets the floor before anything else does.
Land
PP cotton fill compresses and spreads the contact across the whole ring instead of one hard point. The open centre keeps pressure off the crown.

It is

It isn't
- A helmet, or certified protective equipment of any kind
- A substitute for supervision — it doesn't cover the face, temples or forehead
- For sleep, car seats, prams or high chairs. Take it off first, every time
- For children under 12 months, or anyone who can't sit and stand unaided
Check the strap fit each time you put it on: you should slide two fingers under the chest strap easily, and nothing should sit against the throat.

Mesh or plush — which should I pick?
Mesh for warm rooms and summer: the open weave lets air through instead of trapping it against the back. Plush for cooler months and over jumpers. The protection is identical — same fill, same shape, same straps. It's purely a comfort and temperature choice.
A few characters come in different colours depending on the fabric — the elephant is mint in plush and blue in mesh, for example. The picker above shows exactly what you'll receive.
Can I order more than one?
Yes — use the − and + buttons next to the price to set how many you want before adding to the cart. Shipping stays free however many you order.

Will my toddler try to pull it off?
Some do on the first day. The buckle sits at the front and takes a deliberate squeeze, so it isn't easy to remove by accident, but most children lose interest once they've walked around in it for a few minutes. Putting it on during a favourite activity helps for the first few wears.
How do I wash it?
Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle, ideally in a laundry bag. Don't tumble dry — reshape it by hand while damp and lay it flat to air dry. The fill recovers its loft as it dries.
Can they wear it in a car seat or while sleeping?
No. Remove it for the car, prams, high chairs and any kind of sleep. Anything bulky behind the head or back changes how a harness sits and how the head is supported.
My child is small for 18 months — will it fit?
The straps adjust over a wide range and the pad rests on the shoulder blades rather than hanging from the neck, so there's plenty of room to grow. The one hard limit is developmental, not size: they should be sitting and pulling to stand on their own before wearing it.
